I have twenty years’ experience in IT/Cyber Security, mainly as a Security Analyst/Consultant in the private sector - Finance, Retail, Telecoms, High-Tech, and Defence. I’ve also worked for UK government, in the USA as a Fulbright scholar and in the Caribbean teaching IT skills.
I'm currently working for HSBC in the UK.
Most of my work is in DFIR (Digital Forensics Incident Response). I have experience of using most Enterprise class security technologies.
One of the great things about my current role is the variety and diversity of the work – always a new challenge, no two days are the same.
I’ve presented on Cyber Security at various conventions, colleges and events. This year I’ve written a guide to Cyberchef and am trying to finish another book on the human element of Cyber Security.
